Who we are

Ulya Beauty is an online retailer of skincare, makeup and fragrance based in Jordan. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" mean Ulya Beauty. If you have any question about how we handle your information, write to info@ulyabeauty.com.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run the shop:

• Details you give us — your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, and anything you write in a message to us.
• Order information — what you bought, when, and the delivery status.
• Account information — if you create an account, your login email and an encrypted version of your password. We never see your password in readable form.
• Technical information — your IP address, browser and device type, and how you move through the site. This is collected through cookies.

We do not store your full card number. Payments are handled by our payment provider over an encrypted connection.

How we use it

We use your information to take and deliver your order, to send order confirmations and delivery updates, to answer your questions, to prevent fraud, to meet our legal and tax obligations, and — only if you have asked us to — to send you marketing emails.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary with the companies that help us operate: our delivery partners (name, address and phone number so they can reach you), our payment provider, and our email provider. Each is only permitted to use your information to perform that service for us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use essential cookies to keep your basket and session working, and analytics cookies to understand which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the shop will not work correctly without the essential ones.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Account information is kept until you ask us to close your account. Marketing consent is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it where we are not required to keep it, or stop using it for marketing. Email info@ulyabeauty.com and we will respond within 30 days. Every marketing email also carries a one-click unsubscribe link.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, and access to order data is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.

Children

The shop is intended for customers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
